The lively atmosphere and creative fervour of the late 1960s is the context in which PT's history has its roots. It all began in 1968, when Pierangelo Fassino, a far-sighted entrepreneur, took over the family business, which until then had specialised in the wholesale of fine fabrics, and concentrated on the production of trousers. Pierangelo's son Edoardo joined his father and launched the high-end trouser brand PT Torino. Offering everything from tailored trousers to luxury denim, PT expanded its production to include sophisticated women's collections of jeans and trousers.
